Firstly , we would like to say a big thank you to all the readers of the magazine who took the time to call us or contact us by email regarding the editorial and adverts . We know that the sales team have now contacted everyone who got in touch and arranged for someone from the technical department to arrange for visits and surveys .
We know from experience and talking to our clients there has been a misconception in that installing a heat pump and / or an automatic pool cover can be costly and then in the case of the heaters expensive to run . As we said in our previous editorial whilst we are a wholesaler supplying many pool shops and outlets we can in some areas where we have no representation supply directly to the public at trade and wholesale prices .
We are also very aware in the areas covered by this magazine that prices offered by pool shops and individual installers seem to be extremely high . One of our other concerns having spoken to potential clients in the area is that they are seeing adverts that on the face of it seem to be very reasonable but the heaters being offered are not big enough for the pools and the covers whilst they are automatic are not PVC slatted covers .
When you are discussing the heater for your pool it is important that you are clear when you want to be using the pool . For example , is it for all the year around use , or just the shoulder months ? The size of the pool will also determine the size of heater you should be using . If your intention is to swim all the year round , you should only consider using a full inverter heater . On the other hand , if you only want to heat your pool for an extra two or three months of the year a noninverter heater which is not as efficient in running cost but will be much cheaper to purchase would be an option .
