“management”.
Mark Wheeler was born in Manchester
59 years ago and has three children. He

seduction, thought or planned, by each

New Fish and Chip
shop in Nerja
A new traditional Fish and Chip shop
will be opening soon in Nerja. Kim and
Karen from KK’s restaurant in San Juan
de Capistrano and former owners of the
Bull Ring Fish and Chip bar in El Zoco
have succumbed to clients requests to
re-open. They will be serving quality
Icelandic Cod with fresh hand cut chips
along with all the traditional chip shop
favourites. Vegetarian and gluten free
options will be available. Serving every
day, not just Fridays, customers can eat
in or pre-order for collection with all
food cooked fresh to order. Kim is
proud to still be cooking traditional
Fish and Chips on the Costas as part of
a family business that stretches back 50
years. His father opened one of the first
English chippies in Spain way back in
1964. Pop in to see them at KK’s for

and for 14 years in Customer
Management. He then took early
retirement and moved here following his
marriage to Jenny in Nerja last
September.
He claims to be an avid Manchester
United supporter “A bit difficult at the
moment.” he said, and sang in a church
choir for 39 years. He also sang for two
years with The Halle Choir in
Manchester before having to resign due
to work and travel commitments abroad.
He felt too young to retire and do
nothing, so taking over from Elspeth was
the perfect opportunity for him to do
something and keep active! Why not pop
in and say hello? See advertisement on
page 45.
