A support group for people experiencing
loss (through death/ ill health/ loss of self-
esteem). Including volunteers, nurse,
psychologist and social worker. The aim is
to have a group of “friends” to support
each other through tough times, picking
up the phone just to say hello, sharing
information. We are looking for people
who are willing to support others, e.g. to
spend time with someone, provide lifts,
do practical things around the house. If

Monday November 19 – Art Appreciation
Group. We will watch and discuss the
series by Andrew Graham Dixon on the
History of Spanish Art. In November he
travels from Toledo to Madrid, he traces
the rise and fall of the Spanish Empire,
the brutal conquest of the New World,
and the religious madness of the
Inquisition, to discover how a history so
violent could produce some of the most
beautiful art ever seen. Donation of €2.

Wednesday November 21 – Trip to
Guzman Garden Centre & Fuengirola. We
firstly visit the garden centre of Guzman,
in Alhaurin de la Torre. Here you may
buy plants, etc from the shop. It always
has a wonderful Christmas display with
decorations for sale and there is a cafe.
We then go to Fuengirola, free time for
shopping, lunch or to visit the Bio Parc,
until 3pm when we go to the Miramar
Commercial Park and Iceland for
shopping until 17.00. €15 at the Centre.
Wednesday November 28 – Quiz Night.
€6 at the Centre. 6pm for 18.30pm.
Friday November 30 – Christmas Bazaar.
