had to return to Sweden for medical care. Unfortunately, the owner never made it back to Spain so the brothers were housed in kennels. Ossian found a new home during the summer with a wonderful German family who live in Almuñecar. Unfortunately, they could not take two dogs so Sebastian is still in kennels waiting to be adopted as well. suffered from a memory related illness so Portia has been overfed for the last couple of years but she is otherwise in very good health and is currently on a diet while she is in kennels. Portia is a lovely, medium sized female who enjoys being around people. She also gets along with other dogs and is curious about cats but we do not think she would hurt one. He is in fine health, chipped, fully vaccinated and castrated and would make a wonderful addition to any family. Simba is an older youngster who is coming up on his first birthday. Simba Unfortunately, in this short time he has had three owners. Because Simba got off on the wrong paw in life he has not been given the proper training to correct certain puppy behaviours before they became issues. Simba loves to play with other dogs and is full of energy but as he matures he will settle into a calmer adult. He is a lovely dog who is very affectionate but he needs an owner with the confidence and patience to show Simba how to live in a home. Portia was adopted from CAS over ten years ago. She lived a good life with her owner during that time but, sadly, her owner died last month so Portia is looking for a new home. The owner CAS cat corner – Commie Cats! Lenin and Mao were adopted from CAS as kittens but their owners have bought, and moved into, a house in a development that is completely hostile to cats. Unfortunately, these two comrades are wont to befriend everyone. For the safety of these two handsome ginger and white boys, they are currently being kept indoors as a temporary solution until a new home can be found. They are inseparable and would love to be re-homed together. We also offer an excellent selection of books, bric-brac, DVDs and numerous other items, all at bargain prices. The CAS shop is at c/ Castilla Perez 2. Open Monday to Saturday from 10.00am until 2.00pm. Donations are always welcome and we are eager to hear from people who are interested in becoming shop volunteers. One four hour shift once a week makes a big difference. There are always two volunteers per shift making for a safe, relaxed, congenial environment.
