month and treated hundreds of invited
guests to delicious samples of bio tapas
in combination with Coby's colourful
and original artworks.
Dutch born artist Coby Bloemsma paints
in oils and acrylics and often makes
collages. Portraits and the human figure
are her favourite subjects which she
paints from live models. She uses an
abundance of styles, from realistic to
abstract, and likes to use mixed media.
When walking around the gallery you
would think there have been different
artists at work. There are also some
animal objects on display. To see more
of her work visit her website
www.cobybloemsma.com. After retiring
as a PR officer for the Dutch
Early-risers Maureen Parkin, Lisa Davies,
Elaine Gosling and Sylvia Manly all
made it to the 9.30am Move It To Music!
Saturday class at Nerja’s Millenium
Wellness Center. To meet popular
demand, these 9.30am classes are taking
place every Saturday until the end of
February in addition to the usual 11am
start time. Move It To Music!

and married an Englishman. The
newlyweds travelled through Europe in
a camper van for five years with their

The response surpassed all expectations!
Almost 100 new toys were collected for
the Red Cross who were delighted with
the donation. They were giving presents

non-perishable food and toiletry items
The gallery is a spacious and light filled
area inside the restaurant and is open
