The gathering together of people is not permitted. We want you all to know, that if you or any vulnerable person you may know, is having any difficulties, not solely with our services, but health, or translations, in fact - any other way, please reach out to us and let us lend a hand where we can. It is vitally important we all pull together. So with our vast network of resources and extensive local knowledge, were here to do our bit for the community. We shall be taking the relevant precautions to protect everyone, and for that reason, we cannot currently undertake new installations or tend to call outs. At the start of the lockdown, many tourists and foreigners were going to the Balcón de Europa, to the beaches, parks, walking around the town, jogging or doing sport activities. This is not permitted and the Police are stopping them and telling them to stay at home. All bars, restaurants, shops, offices and others are closed to the public. Only essential necessities shops are open: supermarkets, fruit shops, food shops, chemists, banks, petrol stations, laundries and tobacconists. Only one family member can go to these shops. Exceptions can be made if a person cannot leave a baby by itself or an invalid, although it is not advisable. Some places will only permit a certain number of people to enter at a time. Taxis and buses will have reduced timetables and spaces. For buses to Málaga and surroundings timetables, see www.alsa.es. Some businesses and offices are not open to the public but can be contacted by telephone or email, like the Nerja Town Hall. The post office is open from 9:30 to 12:30. Permitted: - Restaurants and bars can have a take away food delivery service. Also you can take your dog out to do its business but only for a short distance walk. Going to work - only one person in the car. Strict recommendations - Wash your hands frequently. Always keep a distance of 1.5m from any other person, specially in a queue.
