During the last year , looking out for each other has been reflected in our operations onboard the fleet . With new marine crew joining the Solstad family , safety is reflected by the crew onboard and it is important to always look out for each other .
In my experience the crew members are doing an excellent job following the SIFO culture , believing that all incidents , whatever the nature or cause , are preventable .
18 vessels in the period December 2021- November 2022 reached the impressive milestone of 3- and 5-year continuous operation with no recorded Lost Time Incidents ( LTI ’ s ) onboard , this due to a high focus on safety standards , good routines , and processes to support all tasks .
When treating your colleagues with respect and taking care of each other you are already on a good way to have a good working environment , and a good working environment contributes to a safer workplace .
