The hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) steams to its anchorage site off the coast
of Papua New Guinea during Pacific Partnership 2015. Pacific Partnership 2015
was the 10th iteration of this multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster
relief preparedness exercise – the largest such exercise in the Indo-Asia-Pacific
region. While training for crisis conditions, Pacific Partnership participants have
provided medical care to over 270,000 patients and veterinary services to more
