White Oak White Oak is a classic hardwood. As our choice of oak is being finger jointed, this will exclude all gaps, breakout and leave a stable solid wood finish. Pyinkado Pyinkado redwood is a very hard wood, double the hardness of teak wood. Due to this hardness, it is sometimes called Burmese Ironwood. Pyinkado behaves well during the drying process, drying slowly but with very little degradation. The Janka Hardness Scale indicates that this is an excellent wood for tabletops, constructed furniture and therefore it is also a popular flooring and staircase construction material. The colour remains rich and dark turning towards chocolate over time. Rubber wood Heartwood, naturally a light blond to medium tan colour, sometimes with medium brown streaks. Similar in feel and look to pine although heavier. It is widely used for furniture and is grown in large quantities for latex production. We use this characteristic tropical wood for our restaurant and bar projects where the price is of major importance. Rubber wood is also easy to stain in various colours.
