PT Had you already made a selection
of already composed songs? Or you
gave yourself the time to do these
during the process of creating the
album?
DC I had a couple of tunes already
composed which I gave to friends as
presents. One of these (Salvation) was
to friends who had left the UK for
America to live in Minnesota. The title

friend who was very ill and needed
lifting. She loved the piano and in
particular she loved Magnesium. Very
sadly, she died and the tune was
selected by her family to be played at
her funeral. This piece therefore had
extra significance, and really gave me
the incentive to finish the album.
It always leaves me with a great
feeling when I hear it. R.I.P! Jane

course), in that moment I felt that you
played with some melodies so close in
the field of jazz and maybe it is the
theme that sounds more like a "city" to

not to include pieces in that style? And
if your answer is affirmative, why do
you like jazz?
DC I am influenced by jazz and
