Women are supported and motivated by other women in this business. How is the scene regarding this aspect in the wine business and how does your company support women? For my family, my father was very open-minded and offered us the choice to choose our school, direction in life , career etc. And we chose viticulture! We live very much like other men… taste wine, and take decision. We work together as family and graciously, everything is going well.   How is situation now compared to the earlier times? Sure! Now the world is more open and the work is less hard than before. It’s easier to run a company also now, people are more open-minded… things are great…  Most importantly, today almost all the major wine regions of the country have their own local association of female winemakers. Please tell us more about that. Yes, we are very helpful and supportive with our womenfolks, we know it is not very easy, and we have the same issues, so we talk more with our women colleagues than men and have a different vision to share. We advice more each other, meet more … support more. SoCultures wishes more power to these inspiring leaders... 67 SOCULTURES JAN-FEB2019
