2018! It’s time to say goodbye to you in just a few days. The year is about to bid
adieu leaving us with some sweet-bitter-happy-confused-calm-super eclectic–
amused memories and moments. It also means that we will soon be ushering in a
brand new fresh year. Though the disciplined cycle of days and nights will always
be same, the sun and moon will shine on time as always and nothing will change.
But New Year brings sweet buzz of excitement and hope in the air. It’s like the
fragrance of a new flower blossoming or aroma of a freshly baked Vanilla cake.
Wrote one poet,
“Just as a new bloom spreads fragrance and freshness around…
May the New Year add a new beauty and freshness into your life...?
There is so much to look forward to a New Year. Lets gear up for the exciting times
ahead - to meet new people, make new friends, accelerate progress, forgive those
who have hurt you, and learn the lessons from experiences, mistakes, forge new
collaborations, make a new painting or lose some weight.
The year 2018 was eventful. Lots of trends, innovations, news dominated the
politics, fashion, business, films, beauty, travel etc in the year. If "Espiritual" is the
title of the Pedro Abrunhosa's new album, the famous Portuguese singer-songwriter;
the fashion, this year saw numerous international labels including Prada, Bottega
Veneta, Chanel, Versace and Dolce & Gabbana staging shows in New York. Russia
hosted FIFA football world cup and NASA successfully landed InSight on Mars.
