like performing I will step out and do so. I say that also because Philly offers many open mic venues weekly. And though 10 years isn't far away and I do more than just open mic events, I still enjoy them. Therefore you never know when I'll step through a spot or open up for someone unless you follow me on Twitter/ Facebook , or I simply text/tell you.

Social Therapy Mag: Do you have videos out?

Black Cancer: I have a lot of live performances of me doing sets and songs. But I have no videos out yet to any of my songs, mainly because I wasn't really big on videos for my tracks. Sounds odd, but I wanted to take it back to where you appreciated the music & sound before the visuals of the song. In today's society a mentality like that will get you nowhere so I no longer think like that. So..with that being said..videos coming soon. Lal...

Social Therapy Mag: What do you want people to know about Black Cancer?

Black Cancer: My mentality. I rep Philly all day, not a region! I love my city, but I hate my city as well. This is not the place to raise a child or family at. I love my family! They will always hold me up because no one else has/will. I spit what I fantasize and the things that have slowly come to light or will come eventually. If I rap about a car and the luxury life I want it, not need it. People tend to get that phucked up when they hear my music. It’s not a crime to want the finer things in life. It’s how you go about it that counts. And I have my own style of lingo, rapping, and hustling. Every rapper should. Don't compare me to others because I work(ed) hard to maintain my rep. Aside from that I'm just a regular person with talents. I love to go out and enjoy myself. Do active activities like (ice) skate, race, bike ride, go on trips and vacate, occasionally club, see plays and all that shit. Life is short. Live it! Yeih

Social Therapy Mag: Black Cancer thanks for being the feature artist in July issue.

Black Cancer: Yo thanks for having me, man. That's really a good look and I appreciate the opportunity cuz. It’s hard being an artist and getting that acknowledgement you feel you deserve. I hope S.T.M goes far and crushes others who try to steal the mag's swag, so to speak. Ya'll keep it iLL. Yeih!
