Social Therapy Mag: Mz. China, where are you from?Mz. China: I’m originally from Midwest Chicago, however, since moving to south Charlotte, NC I also considered that my second home.Social Therapy Mag: How many mixtapes do you have out now, and do you currently have an album out?

Mz. China: I’m featured on Boss Chicks of the game hosted by Plies official Dj, DJ SUGA D. I also have an album out titled “DIE-VERSE.” Social Therapy Mag: Mz. China, what do you want to bring to the game as a female MC?

Mz. China: As a female, the number one thing I would like to bring back to music is real skills and reality. I rap and sing about real things that I have either personally experienced or have seen firsthand. What I find in music today is that gimmicks stepped in and real talent took a backseat. As a consumer myself I still crave that real music that I can relate to, not just a hot track and the lyrics make no sense but an actual story to tell.Social Therapy Mag: Are you signed to any label? If not, what record labels would you sign with?

Mz. China: Though I have had quite a few offers from some very respectable major labels, right now me staying independent keeps me in control of who I am and what I write about in my music. However, provided the right offer I would go with Universal, Atlantic or DefJam.Social Therapy Mag: Who have you collabed with so far and who would you like to collab with?

Mz. China: Thus far I have kept it in the fam, but since coming out to Charlotte I have been featured on songs with my Brother Skitzo Stylez, The Dollar Squad, and many more collabs are lining up as we speak. I have done shows with a lot of major and indie artist however the latest would be Mr. Walk it out and 2Step himself Dj Unk.

As far as who I would work with the answer is simple, anyone with serious talent be it signed or unsigned. I’m in if it’s hot.

Social Therapy Mag: Are there any producers you would like to work with?

Mz. China: Wow well Timbaland, Missy Elliot...Bn real there are so many we could sit here all day long. I like a variety of styles of music....that one is tough because there are so many talented established and up and coming producers. I’m gonna be looking forward to working with Lights Out soon.Social Therapy Mag: Do you have any shows coming up?Mz. China: I took a brief hiatus, however, my booking agent will resume in about 2 weeks or so. Stay tuned for that one lol.Social Therapy Mag: Do you have videos out now?Mz. China: Yea where do I begin, hahaha, well the top video right now has over 2 million downloads on the internet and so we decided to put it on YouTube since it did so well it's called “REAL VS FAKE.” Although a diss track dedicated to Nicki Minaj, it wasn’t personal, it was biz. I have gotten quite a positive response from it since putting it out. Then there is, "The Question," which is a love drama about cheaters and their significant others; heck of a twist. And many more videos can be seen on my website xpozetv.com
