Social Therapy Mag: How long have you been in the game?

Dot Da Joker: I've been in the entertainment business all of my life it seems, starting back in high school. But if we are strictly talking about musically, I been doing music for about six/seven years now. Three years strong, especially since my team got put together. Shout out to team ChekRoQ.Social Therapy Mag: How many mixtapes do you have out now, and do you currently have an album out?

Dot Da Joker: Currently I have about 3 solo mixtapes (Snatch'eZ series). I dropped a mixtape with my friends the Draft Pickz entitled "Draft Day" but I’ve been featured on a numerous of mixtapes in the last year (over seven tapes). I don't have an album out yet because I don't think it's the right time for it. I’m still building my buzz up, but most definitely I am giving the supporters album material. They will get a lil taste with these next couple mixtapes I release.

Social Therapy Mag: Are you signed to any label? If not, what record labels would you sign with?

Dot Da Joker: Nah, I'm not signed by nobody's label yet. We're doing everything from the ground up, building this ChekRoQ brand. So I guess you can say that I’m signed to myself. Yeah, I like the way that sounds. I'm self-employed, LOL. If I had my choice of labels to sign with; to be honest I want to go anywhere they’re going to give me a fair shot and let us do us.

Social Therapy Mag: Who have you collabed with so far and who would you like to collab with?

Dot Da Joker: I haven't collabed with any main stream artist yet but I did songs with a couple of upcoming artists who I think people should be on the lookout for. Nic420, Niddy, Ski, Mill Bill, Seizer, Viego, Neff Martin, Jon Doe, Shock, Bolo from Pittsburgh, I can't remember everybody, SMH. They’re going to kill me. I apologize if I missed somebody because I know I missed a lot. I would like to collab with anybody that wants to work and push for the best interest of the music, but I know yall want to know names. I would like to work with Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Nipsey Hussle, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Chris Brown, Curren$y, A$AP Rocky, Big Krit, Joe Buddens to name just a few main stream artist.Social Therapy Mag: Are there any producers you would like to work with?

Dot Da Joker: Any new producer that is hungry and can take me out of my comfort zone, but I’ve always admired Ryan Leslie's work and Doctor Dre. Sledgren from Taylor Gang is pretty dope. These are just a couple off the top of my head.Social Therapy Mag: Do you have any shows coming up?

Dot Da Joker: Always got shows coming up, that's the only way to get seen and heard at the same damn time. LOL. Sike naw, yeah were actually about to go on tour. The Snatch'eZ tour starts July 14th and we are going all over the east coast and mid-west. So stay tuned to www.ChekRoQ.com to keep up with the movement ya dig!?
