Social Therapy Mag: How long have you been in the game?
Somerset: About 10 years, I started rhyming back in ’02, my first year out of high school.
Social Therapy Mag: How many mixtapes do you have out now, and do you currently have an album out?
Somerset: I’ve got 2 mixtapes out right now, 1 group tape with the C.U.P Family called Family First link->http://www.datpiff.com/THE-FAMILY-Family-First-mixtape.152651.html , and a solo tape called “Megatron Rise of The Fallen” link->http://www.datpiff.com/Eddie-Somerset-Megatron-Rise-Of-The-Fallen-mixtape.331906.html , I’m working on my solo album “The Greatest Story Never Told” to be released summer 2013.
Social Therapy Mag: Are you signed to any label? If not, what record labels would you sign with?
Somerset: C.U.P Family (King Teff, Chris Bugz, Eddie Somerset) signed to ISLAND DEF JAM/DRAHMA MUSICK/TUNECORE RECORDING Feb 26th 2011 we are waiting on the release of the “Ray Daniels project” which features our single “Fight” produced by MiddleFingaMarc…….as a solo artist I don’t have a wish list but I would love to link with Kanye one day I think that would fit my sound the best.

Somerset: I’ve collabed with SandCannon, J. Serious, King Teff, Chris Bugz, PokerFace Of Philly, I Know Brasco, MiddleFingaMarc, LouieVGutta, Knotz Da Dondada, Dante Alexander, Choppa Skyzz, TaeNMalBeats……..I would love to do a track with Jazmine Sullivan I think she’s dope and also The Roots they’re living legends.

Somerset: That I represent them and it’s displayed in my music, from the hustler on the street corner to the hustler in the job market. I represent the struggle, the good and the bad, my mission is to make it and give back to the community that made me.
