A study of fundamental concepts and essential elements of the market economic system in a problem/issues orientation. Focus areas include opportunity costs and scarcity, supply/demand analysis, competitive markets, macroeconomics measurement, business cycles, inflation, unemployment, monetary and fiscal policies, and international trade.
