Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, as well as a graduate from Columbia University and Harvard University, husband, and father of two. Elected as the 44th President of the United States, Obama’s Democratic campaign swept the nation in 2008 while winning presidency over Republican Party nominee Senator John McCain. With winning both the popular vote, and Electoral College with 365 electoral votes, to McCain’s 173. With 69.5 million votes, President Barack Obama has collected the highest amount of votes ever won by a presidential candidate.
President Obama will truly go down in history, not only for being one of the best public speaking presidents the United States has ever seen, but also for the compassion and justice he has for the American people.
How do we say goodbye to Barack Obama? Although another four years would have been great, unfortunately that is not in our future. Taking a look at the highlights from his presidency is the best way to say thank you, instead of goodbye. (cont.)
