Social Media & Influencers Impact On The Fashion Industry 1 | Page 28
The Conclusion
In conclusion to the research gathered, it has shown
that not only social media has an impact in many
consumers’ lives, but more and more brands and companies
are noticing that social shopping is rising and the
public are becoming influenced by what they see online.
As Instagram and Snapchat are becoming more popular,
brands will start to showcase their catwalk shows
digitally which will make it available to the open
public. Could this impact in the way designer brands are
presented? Will mass market brands start showcasing their
collections on a catwalk but using Snapchat as their tool?
As mentioned before, bloggers are saturating the
mass market. The word blogger isn’t just someone who
post pictures on Instagram and videos on YouTube,
they are attending Fashion Shows, being spotted by
photographers, collaborating with brands; they are
playing this major part in the way the public shop and
with research carried many people are more influenced
in what a blogger wears rather than a celebrity.
So, in a few years’ time, once the bloggers impact
has
died
down,
the
rise
in
reality
or
even
models could potentially be the next idea that
will play another rise in the fashion industry.
