Johor State Government under the supervision of State Science, Technology and Information and Communications Technology Unit has organised Minggu Sains Teknologi dan ICT Negeri Johor 2014 (MISTI JOHOR 2014) with a theme "Towards a Smart Community". This event held from 16 until 21 April 2014 at Persada Johor International Convention Centre. The event was opened by Johor Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin on April 15. the sponsors were Telekom Malaysia, MysysNet Sdn Bhd, Twin Systems Sdn Bhd, Znn Technology Centre Sdn Bhd, Iskandar Regional Development Authority, MSC Cyberport Sdn Bhd, and ALTEL Communications Sdn Bhd. The exhibition is open for the public between 10am and 6pm and between 8.30pm and 10.30pm for the evening session.
The main objective of this event is to give awareness and exposure to the public about science, technology and ICT. It also providing medium for information exchange between Government, Businesses and community.
