WARRIORS’ WORDS
HOLA, SOCCER WARRIOR FANS!
READ WHAT OUR FANS HAVE TO SAY!
WELCOME TO WARRIORS’ WORDS, OUR ALL-NEW LETTERS PAGE. WE’ VE BEEN RECEIVING TONS OF FANTASTIC FAN MAIL, AND WE APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR POSITIVE FEEDBACK. SO IF YOU WANT TO TELL US WHAT YOU THINK OF SOCCER WARRIOR, THIS IS THE PLACE TO LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD!
Dear Warriors’ Words,
I like Soccer Warrior. I always buy the Daily Sun and Sunday Sun to learn more about soccer. I read issue 02 of Soccer Warrior and I saw Vusi scoring a goal from centre field. I told my grandson,“ You are the star soccer player at your school. You could become a professional player, just like Vusi.”
We need children to be a part of things like soccer to keep them off the streets and safe from drugs and other bad things.
I like soccer with my whole heart and if you have a team, please put my grandson on it.
Hola Soccer Warrior! I am with you! Maphiri T.
Thank you for the kind words, Maphiri. We also believe that it is important for kids to get involved in healthy, safe and drug-free activities like playing sports. Unfortunately, we don’ t have our own soccer team, but who knows what the future might bring? Until then, please keep reading, because we really value fans like you and your grandson.
Dear Warriors’ Words,
I’ m so glad to be able to write this letter to you. Let me tell you what I think of the Soccer Warrior magazine.
This book is so interesting. I have three children in the house and they like to read. My youngest girl is in grade one, where all the children like to cut and paste pictures from magazines. I remember how her teacher gave all the children the task of bringing in a picture of a soccer ball.
The following day, my girl cut out a picture of Vusi Vuzela and brought it to school. She got a star, which made her very happy.
My suggestion is: Put Soccer Warrior on the shelves in supermarkets or send it to lower primary schools, because young kids like to cut and paste pretty pictures. I would like to congratulate you on the magazine, you have done great work. Keep it up.
Yours faithfully Molahlehi M.
Wow! Thank you so much for your letter, Molahlehi! It is inspiring stories like this that make it all worthwhile! It’ s nice to know that Soccer Warrior is helping kids with their homework and you can bet that we’ re already working on getting Soccer Warrior comic books into schools for even more kids to enjoy.
Dear Warriors’ Words,
I can’ t wait for issue # 04 of Soccer Warrior! I want to see what Max Adams and Mr. Ngwenya are up to.

We’ re glad to hear that you’ re enjoying Vusi’ s adventures! Stay tuned, more will be revealed about Max and Mr. Ngwenya’ s schemes very soon.
Until next time, Warriors: Keep reading, keep writing in and keep on winning!
