Many rehab programs are short and offer minimal outpatient services, so with a sober living home you are sure to be able to stay for as long as you require. Many of those who do choose to live in a sober living home have tried halfway houses or rehab centers before and maybe not succeeded at sobriety after choosing those treatments. If this is the case, then a good sober living home may be for you as it offers a much easier transition and is much less disruptive to your life outside of recovery.
