According to Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) documentation, no Rainbow are stocked in the Blue Ribbon section. Browns are stocked in the Spring and in 2014, seven thousand one hundred Browns averaging 8 inches were stocked. According to a fall sampling done that same year, the Brown population is estimated at 323 fish per mile with 19% being at or over eighteen inches. The largest measuring 23.5 inches and weighting in at over six pounds.
