Is a lifetime Kansan who tries to spend as much time as he can manage chasing fish of all types around his home state as well as the Ozarks of Missouri and Arkansas. Smallmouth and trout are two of his favorite quarries , but he won't snub his nose at the opportunity to sling a fly at anything from white bass to gar. "I enjoy fly tying almost as much as fly fishing, even though I'm not very good at either one. I've got a very short list of things needed to make things right with the world....a campfire, a good cigar and that cold beer you can grab me out of the cooler"!

The author is an avid kayak angler who spends too much time watching fish porn and planning his next adventure to chase reds, carp, bass, and trout by fly. He's from Central Arkansas and has fished the Ozarks for over 30 years.
