WorldStar Hip Hop (WSHH) was created in 2005 by Lee "Q" O'Denat as a distributor of mixtapes. This website was created for entertainment targeted to the young black audience.b Since this website has been created, people upload music videos with the intentions of getting noticed by big music producers or someone who could help them get their name out to the public. Some funny things that are uploaded on Vine usually are made into a countdown video called "Top 100 Vine Competition of the Week" to see the top 100 Vines just to get a good laugh. Today, WSHH plays a big part in the media for people ages 18+ for the music videos, Vine comps, and just to keep up with some main stream media in our age group.

How often do you check WSHH? Not that much anymore because I feel like its turning out to be more about vines, people fighting, and too many ads. I still feel like its a good place for unsigned artist to get their music out.
What are one of the things you look forward to seeing when visiting the site? Things I may have missed that were going on in the media. I like it because its just not things that are going on around us, but things internationally. Not only do we find things thats going on in America, you can find things that are going on in other countries that some people may find imporatant. And I like that viewers can submit videos, not just the people that own WSHH and its free.
