Ukraine is a picturesque land with marvelous beauty of the fields, forests and mountains. Ukraine is a fantastic and rich country. Its symbol is a Sunflower. Ukraine has long and wide rivers, blue lakes and powerful seas. The Ukrainian Carpathians are magnificent in winter and summer.

Many people live in Ukraine, but I'd like to tell you about Marichka and Ivasyk.
Marichka is 10 years old. She is a pupil of "The Planet of Happiness" , Dnipro educational complex # 148. Her favourite subject is literature. She likes reading very much. Her favourite author is Joan Rowling. Marichka likes adventure magic stories with fairy sticks and miracles. Marichka has large brown eyes and long wavy hair. She is tall and slim. Marichka goes in for sports. She likes swimming. She is friendly and kind. Marichka likes winter. It is the best time for dreaming. And it is a wonderful season which brings joy and excitement for all children in the world.
