Yi Tao Art Creation « Costume Design and Facial Rigging My thesis project focuses on costume costumes including textures. The first pillar of my thesis is facial rigging. The face is one of the most important parts of the character. I can make a memorable and believable character with subtle facial expressions. The second is costume design. I researched European old fashion and combined that with fantasy elements. I found an efficient pipeline for creating 28 ART CREATION researched the light of Rembrandt, which help the face of a character stand out. I created an oil painting shader that can be applied on any mesh. I have great passion for character design, and I believe a good character needs expression and gesture to tell their story beyond costume and makeup. I would also like to explore new methods like using shaders to create special art pieces for games.
