Simulation of Dynamic Seasons
The goal of this project was to create to create this dynamic simulation as
affecting the environment in real-time. developers to understand and make
a park scene with all four seasons
I can change between any season with
the use of blueprints, via texture swaps,
shaders, post processing and lighting, and
activating particle effects.
I chose this project because I wanted
to challenge myself and enhance my
technical skills by studying the pipelines
and technology involved in bringing
immersive gameplay environments to
life with dynamic seasons and weather
systems. Through this project, I have
learned how to use blueprints and Houdini

well as make my tools easy for other
changes in scenes when necessary.
This artifact took approximately 416 hours
over the course of nine months. I spent
the first six months creating the season
system and vine tech, and the final three
months were spent creating and polishing
assets and textures.
