Creating Games to Solve Clustering Problems for Co-Medication
For this project, I created a game Games for science is a growing
problems, specifically finding properties is a prime example of data-driven
that helps find solutions to clustering
in medications that results in successful
co-medication in the treatment of cancer.
Players attempt to solve as many squares
as they can at a time by separating
data points into two groups while also
fighting off a spreading infection on the
gameboard.
This project spanned six months in which
I worked to develop a fun, engaging
experience for players while also meeting
the scientific goals we had for the project.

field in game development and this

considerations that need to be accounted
for when a developer cannot ensure what
their input data will look like and trying
to build a system that accounts for the
variability in the data to make consistent
gameplay and useful output data.
