Creating a Modular Vehicle System for Video Games

artifact consists of a single vehicle body
that attaches and powers six propulsion
systems and weapon systems. The

understood the need to innovate as you

explored the variety of possible vehicles I
could achieve with limited unique pieces.
Maintaining homogeneity across all
models regarding textures and details
was a challenge due to the difference in
shape and silhouette of each propulsion
system. To attain variety in textures, I
created two factions with respective color
schemes, purely for aesthetic purposes.
In the future, I would love to create more
propulsion systems and utilize Unreal
Engine’s blueprint system to swap
attachments to the vehicle instead of
manually swapping units.
