Exploration of Control Schemes for Flight Simulation in Virtual Reality
This is an exploration for a flight simulator
As technology in the VR field continues
4. The purpose is to create a flight
with it. Only through this expansion of
utilizing the HTC Vive and Unreal Engine
simulator in virtual reality that feels
enjoyable to the player while utilizing
some of the best practices used today in
the industry. Using these best practices
as a framework, I created this prototype to
explore various means of control in virtual
reality in relations towards flight control.

knowledge can we assure the steady and
unrestrained growth of technology when
it comes to creating enjoyable VR content
for the masses. In the future, this could be
implemented as a means to virtually train
pilots in a cost effective environment.
