Hide & Seek is an exploration in Artificial
This project is my next step forward
incorporates a custom made heat map
Artificial Intelligence. This project took
Intelligence (AI) in UE4 using Blueprint. It

Reinforced Learning.
The AI in this project is able to seek the
player as well as hide from them using
the nodes in the heat map. The AI learns
from the player’s behavior when the player
hides, then uses what it has learned to
try to hide from the player. It continues
to develop its hiding techniques as it
progresses.

as I delve deeper into the world of
approximately eight weeks and was
completely new territory for me as far as
the AI implementation goes. I decided
to challenge myself with this project by
doing things I’d never done before so
that I could better understand some of
the various complex aspects of Artificial
Intelligence.
