Team Productivity and Group Dynamics: A Synthetic Model for an
Agile Development Team
In a technically oriented field such as
SMADT simulates the actions of individual
and interpersonal skills are often not the
four phases that represent development
the video game industry, team dynamics
primary focus in training new developers.
In the pursuit of a tool that might assuage
that process, I prototyped a visual model
in Unreal Engine 4.7.6 that depicts team
productivity and group dynamics in a
game development setting. I call this
prototype the Synthetic Model for an Agile
Development Team, or SMADT.

As the simulated team completes
these phases and advances through
development, SMADT aggregates the
Pawns’ wellness and productivity and
presents the information to the user.
