Military Vehicles Concept With Dynamic Materials and Destruction

This thesis artifact focuses on making fully rendered concept art for three military vehicles and models, accompanied by dynamic materials and static destruction. The vehicle concept focuses on making 2D concept art of vehicles sharing common chassis and modeling them. Dynamic materials include three different materials that can be triggered by an event— burning metal, a snow-covered surface, and a muddy tank surface. Destruction focuses on making models that demonstrate a partly destroyed vehicle to the degree that even the interior structure is exposed.
Incorporating dynamic materials and destruction adds deeper storytelling and visual impact to a project. Mastering both 2D and 3D allows me to work and collaborate more effectively with different departments within a team. Gaining experience in these masteries has broadened my understanding of various aspects of video game development, further preparing me to work with diverse disciplines in a professional environment. Being able to connect and integrate these masteries has helped me to grow into a more well-rounded and capable game developer.
I chose these materials because I want to become a concept artist who is skilled in both 2D and 3D techniques. My goal is to create vehicle designs that reflect my own unique aesthetic and style.
