Eilistraee ’ s Warrior Armor Set
My goal for this project was to design an armor set for my Dungeons and Dragons character . I ’ m currently playing a tiefling Lore bard and Twilight Domain cleric multiclass . Throughout her journey , she evolved from a person in a very dark place to someone who challenges what she believes is wrong and damaging to others , protecting and guiding those who lost their way . She connected with Eilistraee , a good drow goddess , and awakened her cleric abilities .
This armor was commissioned before battling the gods as a personal acceptance to be Eilistraee ’ s warrior .
I chose this project because I wanted to get more experience in creating characters and to create something fun .
Learning how and why armor was constructed gave me the realistic grounding needed to feel believable . This also challenged me to find ways to visually incorporate elements of her experience .
The colors are from a twilight sky , the symbol is a custom symbol I created for Eilistraee , and the armor was constructed for a tail .
With more focus on visual storytelling , finding new and different ways to polish even the smallest elements to tell a story is definitely useful .
This project took me 115 hours .
