Special Membership Events
We held our first annual Girl Scout Escape Room October 30th ! This special Troop Renewal Event was open to all troops that were fully renewed by September 30th . Since we were celebrating Juliette Gordon Low ’ s birthday , the girls had to solve clues and riddles all about her and Girl Scouts in order to Escape the Room ! All
14 troops were successful in completing their journey through the room in under 45 minutes , gaining valuable Girl Scout knowledge along the way .
In addition , we celebrated Juliette by giving back to our troops ! We held weekly drawings for fully renewed troops and the lucky winners were Troop 279 of Exeter , Troop 4905 of Attleboro , Troop 4717 of Plainville , Troop 86 of Warwick , Troop 777 of Blackstone , Troop 568 of Scituate , Troop 211 of Exeter , and Troop 833 of Plainville . Local businesses generously donated gift cards and coupons for these troops to enjoy .
The Recruitment Team was invited to participate at the Rhode Island Halloween Kid Expo on October 24th , to help introduce Girl Scouts to new families . We were able to reach over 300 kids and their parents at this event ! Not only did we share the pillars of Girl Scouts , but the kids made bouncy balls as an introduction to the STEM pillar .
