At GSSNE we believe every girl has an important role to play and we are committed to making
Girl Scouting available to every girl who wants to take part. But sadly, not all families can afford the $35 Girl Scout membership fee to join. Our council is committed to removing the financial barriers to ensure that all girls who wish to participate in
Girl Scouts can.
The need is great. Did you know that GSSNE provides almost twice the amount of financial assistance per girl than other councils nationwide?
We desperately need your help to continue to do this. Please consider an investment in girls in our community and help ensure every girl reaches her fullest potential.
Your gift will make it possible for all girls to experience a safe and inclusive,
girl-led environment to explore and develop talents and build essential leadership skills. Through hands-on experiences in STEM, enriching outdoor adventures and entrepreneurship activities, girls are building life skills that will help them now and throughout their lives.
And we know that Girl Scouts works—a recent study showed that women who
were Girl Scouts when they were young have higher perceptions of self, higher rates of volunteerism and civic engagement and higher rates of college education than non-alums.
