Happy Back-to-School (and Troop) Season from our
Customer Experience – Membership Team at GSSNE!
Some of the girls who attended the Luau, were not only from the Pre-K Curriculum Initiative, but from library events from all over the region. And some of those libraries can get pretty creative.
During one of the “A Universe of Stories” themed summer reading series events, brilliant mastermind and Children’s Librarian for Fall River Public Library, David Mello, dressed up as an astronaut and revealed a special “friend from out of this world” who roamed around throughout the duration of the event and took photos
with children and adults alike. Bless the
person in that costume as temps soared
into the 90s that day with what felt like
100% humidity. The things our librarians
and educators do for our children—
thank you, David and staff, and to all of
our librarians and educators who work
tirelessly to create and deliver
outstanding programming
and support within our communities.
