On Thursday June 28, 2018 Troop 3190 from Prospect Heights in Pawtucket took their very first train ride to participate in a program at the New England Aquarium. The girls have been part of an extended learning troop since October 2017, and

this is their first Girl Scout Experience. Having worked hard during the Girl Scout Cookie Sale Program, even holding their first booth sale, the girls chose to use their proceeds to take the train into Boston so they could continue to learn about sea animals and complete the requirements to earn their Animal Habitat badge. The full learning experience at the Aquarium included watching a 3-D movie titled "Oceans, our Blue Planet", touring different exhibits ranging from penguins to sea turtles, and the giant ocean tank as well as experiencing the interactive animal touch tank. One of the Boston police officers who was on duty at the Aquarium insisted on photo bombing the girls—he said Girl Scouts are tomorrow's leaders and he was happy they had come to visit! Ariana, who is a Junior, said "I love being a Girl Scout. I am so happy we were able to come here and have this amazing experience. I'm never going to forget it."
