As many of you know, the Camp Hoffman Centennial Celebration will be on July 24, 2021 and not only are we celebrating with exciting events and programming throughout the year, but we’ve also created a special commemorative video about this special camp, which also happens to be one of the oldest continuously operating Girl Scout camps in the country—pretty wild! Did you know that GSSNE has established endowment funds for Camp Hoffman in West Kingston and another for Camp Rocky Farm in Newport? These funds were established to ensure that Camp Hoffman and Camp Rocky Farm will be here for girls in our council to enjoy for generations to come.
Your support of either of these two funds will help GSSNE continue to provide safe and well cared for properties for our Girl Scouts to enjoy enriching outdoor experiences. While the upkeep of our camp properties is one of our most costly expenses, the opportunity to continue sharing the outdoors with girls today, and in the future, is a critical part of our leadership development programs.
