Girl Scouts, from Daisies to Ambassadors, have called upon their resourcefulness and adaptability skills during one of the most challenging years of our lives, and through grit, hard work, and determination, continued to make the world a better place and even strengthened their communities! During the COVID-19 pandemic, our troops were able to redirect from in-person meetings to Zoom meetings, adapted to new in-person meeting guidelines, and earned badges, petals and patches—even earning their Highest Awards in newly imagined ways! At council, we started our first-ever virtual troops who now “meet” regularly, making Girl Scouts accessible to new generations of girls. Our Girl Scouts continue to amaze us, and we hope you enjoy these photos of just some of our troops adapting, thriving, and having some fun, despite what this year has thrown at them!
