While we hear this phrase often, Peg is
a true example of these words put into
action!
Peg currently serves on GSSNE’s Board
of Directors, the Advocacy Committee
and is Chair of the sub-committee for
our Leading Women of Distinction
Awards. She has helped our council
elevate this special event in recent
years to the best it can be and is
responsible for increasing attendance, visibility and financial support. Peg is not only a generous donor to our council but also an excellent ambassador on behalf of GSSNE in the local community. She co-chairs a new board committee on Advocacy and has been instrumental in connecting Girl Scouts with new individuals who were not previously involved with us. In addition to the committees that Peg has oversight for, she also lends her support to other Girl Scout events throughout the year.
Besides giving her time to Girl Scouts, Peg volunteers at her local parish, has served on her town's school improvement team and has been an instructor for Junior Achievement in the Life Skills Program.
Peg’s service to our community, our council and the girls we serve has been invaluable and deeply appreciated. Thank you Peg for all you do for our girls!
