19th Amendment Patch Program
In the year 2020, the United States marks an
important milestone for women’s suffrage, the
100th anniversary of the ratification of the
19th Amendment. The core value of the
legislation states that “The right of citizens of
the United States to vote shall not be denied or
abridged by the United States or by any State
on account of sex.” To highlight this pivotal
moment in our nation’s history, GSSNE has
partnered with the Rhode Island Historical
Society and Secretary of State Nellie M. Gorbea
to create a patch program for Girl Scouts of all age levels. To earn your GSSNE XIX: Shall Not Be Denied patch, complete the required number of steps for your age level (found in the requirements here) and purchase the commemorative patch in the GSSNE Girl Scout shop in Warwick (while supplies last).

The Fidelity Investments “Let It Grow” Investment Patch Program introduces Girl Scouts to investing for their future. When girls start the program, they receive a Fidelity Investments “Let It Grow” patch. The program allows girls to grow from Daisy through Ambassador, earning a new patch bar with each age level. Girls may start earning patch bars at any age level.
