Girl Power…Will Power!

A gift through your will can be a powerful tool. Planned Giving is one of the simplest and most important sources of individual support, ensuring programming that promotes the development of strong leadership and decision-making skills in girls across our council. When preparing or updating your will, please include the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England.

• Your gift can enable you to make a significant contribution that may

otherwise not have been possible during your lifetime.

• Your gift can support a specific area or program.

• A bequest can be a percentage of your estate or a specific amount.

• The satisfaction that your support will inspire and empower girls

everywhere.

When you make a Planned Gift to GSSNE, you have the satisfaction of knowing that your gift will have a powerful influence on generations of Girl Scouts to come and your decision will serve as an inspiration to all who share a commitment to the future of Scouting. In addition, you will be joining a distinguished list of Girl Scout supporters that are now members of the Girl Scouts legacy society—The Juliette Gordon Low Society.

Bequests can be in the form of cash, securities, real estate or other property. You may designate a specific dollar amount, a particular asset, a percentage of your estate, or leave the remainder of your estate after you have provided for loved ones. While unrestricted gifts allow the Girl Scouts to allocate funds to areas of greatest need, your bequest can be designated to support a particular purpose, program, or activity.
