At the May 2016 Annual Meeting our members voted on a new slate of board members to govern the work of our movement locally. As you begin your troop meetings for the new membership year, please know that a strong Board of Directors is in place to ensure support for the important work you do with the girls on whose behalf Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England exists.

A practice that the board put in place at the end of last year is starting each meeting with a visit from a girl or group of girls who share their experiences in GSSNE. They love this portion of the meeting because the girls put the work they do in perspective. Thanks to those girls and their parents for taking the time to meet with the board. We will be inviting more of you in the year to come. We’ll be looking for girl(s) who embody the Girl Scout DNA of:
