A Punters Dream
You'll probably not win as much as the actual winner of the Melbourne Cup - $6,2 million - but that doesn't mean you cannot have a good time betting on the 'Race That Stops a Nation'. Pick one of the adsurd horse names and watch the race together with your mates on Tuesday 7 November.
Unfortunately it's not a public holiday in Western Australia or Queensland, so both IRS branches will be open, but during the race we will just not answer the phone for a few minutes. Not that we're expected any calls, but the Melbourne Cup didn't earn it's name for nothing.
