Students should not bring family-sized portions of food ( i . e ., large bags of chips ) to school or lunch . Also , students may not bring caffeinated and / or energy drinks to school . For cleanliness reasons , students may only bring water in their personal water bottle . We encourage parents to monitor what food items students bring for lunch because healthy , well-balanced meals improve academic attention and participation .
Families are still encouraged to have money on their “ my payments plus ” student account if they would like to purchase extra food or drink items ( i . e . chips , drinks ) in the café . They are welcomed to pre-pay . Students are required to use their 6-digit Cobb County Student Identification number for all purchases made in the café after accounts are established . Students may ask the cashier how much credit they have on account , or they can call the Café Manager at 678-594-8267 to check the balance .
Students are required to finish and dispose of all breakfast items by the end of homeroom . This includes all food and drink items .
SCHOOL STORE The school store hours are from 8:45 a . m . to 9:05 a . m . The store is in the Grade-level Commons Atrium . Students are able to purchase a wide assortment of items to include school supplies on Smitha ’ s supply list .
