BUS CONDUCT Buses are an extension of the school building . The CCSD J-Policies for behavior apply both on school grounds and on the school bus . All students riding the school bus must have a signed contract on file with bus driver .
SAFETY DRILLS Smitha regards the safety of its students with the highest priority . Several policies and procedures are consistently implemented to ensure the safety of all students . Fire and severe weather drills are conducted regularly and each time explicit directions are provided , and expectations clarified for students . We seek to exercise great care with the safety of students in the event of any emergency .
