EVENTS!

As we near the silly season there are loads of events coming up. You can check out the majority of events on the Central calendar. This sits on the Central portal and is available to all 4 Central offices. It is a great way to communicate across the region without having to send an email or announce it. Click on the icon below to be taken to the calendar.

Due to the recent tragic bushfires across NSW, the Sydney office is having an International Food Night tonight (Nov1). It is a booze - free event which embraces all the cultures of SMEC and what we would normally spend on alcohol is being donated to the cause.

November 5 is Melbourne Cup Day! Us Central folk don't need to be in Melbourne to celebrate in style. Make sure you wear a nice frock or a sharp suit, and good luck in your office sweeps!

The National Regional Managers Meeting is taking place in Newcastle from the 10th to the 14th of November. This event allows all management across the entire business a chance to come together and discuss the future of the company.

This week also includes the SMEC Awards on November 14th at the Newcastle Club. Good luck to all the finalists.

Please make welcome our new BMS Co-ordinator for Central, Belinda Wallis.

Belinda commenced with us on Monday 21st October and joins SMEC with over 20 years of experience in quality and improvement services, as well as experience as an IT analyst and technical writer.

We are sure Belinda will be a valued addition to the Central Operations team.
