Inaugural Australasian Tunnel Society Golf Day

14th March 2013 - Photo bottom right

This event raised money for the Garvan Institute for medical research into preventing and treating major diseases such as cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and arthritis.

The event was attended by members of ATS including 3 of SMEC’s largest clients Thiess, Baulderstone and Bouygues. This was a great networking opportunity and allowed SMEC to showcase their additional talents to the industry whilst supporting a worthy cause. The SMEC Sydney Tunnels team included Rob Nievergelt, Joel Hill as well as ring-ins Rob Fernandes and Anthony de Jongh.

A first hole bogey was the only hiccup in a superb round of golf which saw the SMEC team comfortably take out first place! Congratulations guys, great trophy!
